ROSIE (Ch. Winbuck's Lyric) is a brindle-pointed black bitch I brought home from the National Specialy in 2002. She is full of joy and bounce, and her favorite thing in the world is to kiss people's faces. She is a lovely long girl of outstanding breed type, with a beautiful silhouette, good substance, and superior movement. Brags include being awarded Winners Bitch/Best of Winners, and an Award of Merit at the Southern California Cardigan specialty in 2003, and later that year at the National specialty she placed First in a highly competitive Open Bitch class.
Breeder-judge Janet Robinson's comments on awarding Rosie the wins at the California specialty: "Black and white with brindle points. This girl's true height to length proportions/silhouette caught my eye as she came into the ring. Carrying a level firm topline and lovely reach of neck. She had balanced front and rear movement from well laid-back shoulders and rear angles to match. Round bone carried to round feet. Ribbing well back and elbows fitting close. Only 15 months of age, her chest/brisket has not dropped fully. In the Winners Class she took off around the ring; I learned later looking for her owner, displaying her effortless side gait and I was pleased to award her Winners Bitch, Best of Winners, and Award of Merit."
Rosie has established herself as a top producer with multiple champions, including Panda and Gryphon, mentioned above. She will be bred for her final litter at the end of 2008 to my young blue boy, Ch. Cheysuli's High Hopes.
